On April 10-12 2013 in Moscow, Crocus Expo successfully held the largest International Electronics Industry Forum in Russia and Eastern Europe.
In 2013 the 16th International Forum ‘ExpoElectronica’ for the first time took 3 halls and the exhibition area was exceeded 14,500 sq. m.
Traditionally the Forum unite 3 specialized expositions:
- ExpoElectronica – 16th International trade fair for the electronic components, PCBs and electronic production
- ElectronTechExpo – 11th International trade fair for the electronic manufacturing technology
- LEDTechExpo – 3rd International trade fair for LED solutions, chips and production facilities.
For the first time the Forum gathered 440 exhibitors in its area. Almost 30% from them are foreign companies from 22 countries of the world:China,Finland,Germany,Hon Kong,Bulgaria,Belorussia,Hungary,Israel,Italy,Japan,Latvia,Norway,Singapore,Spain,France,Ukraine,Great Britain, theUSA,Poland,Sweden,India andKazakhstan.
The scale of Forum ‘ExpoElectronica’ and its international status were also proved by visitors’ number: over 18,000 specialists from 67 subjects of theRussian Federation and 44 countries representing rest of the world.
Our company is pleasantly surprised with a real growth of exhibition. ‘ExpoElectronica’ actually appeared in new format as in terms of exhibitors’ number as in terms of qualitative composition of visitors.

In 2013 official support of the Forum was rendered by: State Duma of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Federal Fund for electronic development, Moscow City Government, JSC ‘Ruselectronics’, Non-commercial partnership of LEDs and LED Systems, Russian Association of Manufacturers of Electronics and Electronic Devices.
For many years exhibitions ‘ExpoElectronica’, ‘ElectronTechExpo’ and ‘LEDTechExpo’ have been the most distinguished and eagerly-anticipated Russian events in the world of electronics. They are large-scale projects which combine lively professional discussion with an extensive exhibition of the electronics industry’s achievements.

Within the frames of the forum’s business program over 30 seminars and presentations of participants were held as well as traditional events for the most perspective approaches of electronics.
On April 11, with support of Non-commercial partnership of LEDs and LED Systems the 2nd International Conference ‘LED: Chips, Products, Materials, Equipment’ was held. Over 120 specialists fromRussia,Ukraine,Kazakhstan,Singapore andGermany took part in the conference work. A wide range of questions dedicated to possibilities of LED application in different areas, advanced developments and development prospects was considered.
A round table discussion ‘Photovoltaics: a new vector of the electronics development’ was dedicated to the issues of solar energy development as an innovative sphere of economy. Over 50 specialists: producers, scientists, designers, representatives of companies with experience of successful implementation of projects in the sphere of solar energy, developers, and investors participated in the round table discussion.
During all days of the exhibition a multi-functional platform DIPAUL PROF-ARENA in Hall 1 held master-classes of professional training, equipped classrooms and laboratories were operating which were visited by hundreds students from vocational schools and colleges of Moscow, Zelenograd, St Petersburg, Vladimir.
For the first time the round table discussion ‘Education and Business: Highly-Qualified personnel – our Future’ was held. Where representatives of the leading companies - producers and heads of higher educational and vocational institutions in the process of heated disputes discussed the issues of training of high-qualified personnel for the radio-electronic industry ofRussia.
All three days of the Forum were rich in negotiations, technical consultations and presentations, profitable transactions were concluded and long-term agreements were signed. First performances of international manufacturers inRussiatook place.
Business activity, excitement of sales, ambitious goals of exhibitors and visitors and, the most important thing – possibility of their implementation – it became a distinguishing feature of ExpoElectronica 2013.
For SERVICE DEVICES exhibition ‘ExpoElectronica 2013’ was an anniversary as we took part in it for the 10th jubilee time. The exhibition is a unique opportunity to communicate with the customers personally, not only to demonstrate achievements and new developments but to receive feedback without which movement forward is impossible. Work at this exhibition was active and fruitful. A large number of customers open for cooperation joined us. Our thanks to the team of PRIMEXPO: this result is a natural result of our joint, diverse preparatory work. We have started preparation for the next ‘ExpoElectronica 2014’!
